What’s your photographic style?

Tie It Up Photography is inspired by photojournalism, natural light, and sweet, simple romance with a vintage looking edge.

What else is included in Tie It Up Photography wedding coverage?

Every Tie It Up Photography package is different, however, Michelle Winters will always be head photographer and she may have an assistant and/or second shooter based on the client's preference. There will also be an online viewing gallery for ordering prints and sharing images with friends and family, and a usb jump drive of the high-resolution, edited images mentioned above if requested.  

How do we book Tie It Up Photography for our wedding?

In order to book your wedding day, please contact me to confirm your date is available. Once we confirm all the details of your photography coverage, a 30% retainer and a signed contract must be submitted to Tie It Up Photography in order to guarantee reservation of your wedding date. 

What if, on the day of the wedding, the festivities exceed the time allocated by my selected wedding package?

I want you to enjoy yourselves AND have all the images you want to commemorate this amazing day in your new life as a married couple. I won’t have “somewhere else to be” on OUR wedding day. I plan for 2 hours of reception coverage, if more time is needed please communicate with me and we can adjust accordingly.

Do you also offer videography or photo booth services?

I do not currently offer these services, however, I can suggest excellent companies with glowing recommendations.

When will we receive our images?

Every Tie It Up Photography wedding and portraiture package includes high-resolution image files in JPG format. These images are watermark-free and the collection represents the best images from your session or wedding day. The amount of edited images depends on your specific wedding package. A lot of care and attention to detail goes into the selection and editing of your photographs; the online image gallery will be delivered within 3 weeks of your wedding day. The number of images delivered varies based on each individual session or wedding; we’ll discuss how many images to expect during our consultation. 


How far in advance do we need to book photography?

Once you have your wedding date and venue confirmed, start booking the rest of your vendors, including photography. Please get in touch to check availability.

How many hours of photography should I book?

This all depends on your individual plans for the day – every couple, and therefore every wedding, is different! The number of hours you should plan to book a photographer is affected by factors including the duration of your ceremony, whether your ceremony and reception are in the same location or even in the same city, the number of couple and family portraits you want to take, the size of your family and/or bridal party, whether you want to include pre-wedding preparations (like hair, makeup, and getting dressed) in your photography budget, and how long you plan to party down at your reception! We’ll take a look at your itinerary to decide the number of hours you’ll need.

Will our photographs be edited?

The edited images you receive will depend on your specific wedding package. The collection given to you on your usb jump drive (included with every package) will represent the best selection of shots from your wedding day and the ones you have selected me to edit will be retouched and enhanced as needed.
